We are in desperate need of help, to solve the city’s chronic problems, overspending, and ignoring the major issues: Budget, encroachments, enforcement, parklands, taxes, traffic, views.
My goals are to address our major problems, and get input from the community, in addition to being ‘more proactive’ in finding solutions to personalizing our governance, our community, and our lives. Source: Gayne4PVE.com

Top 3 Priorities
- Establish long-term financial stability by increased efficiencies/cost reductions, seeking new, non-tax revenues with the support of a Revenue Ad Hoc Committee, and increasing transparency to residents.
- Keep our PVE police department by building a sustainable, affordable solution with manageable pension costs so we don’t revisit this every couple of years.
- Preserve city character and parklands, including fire abatement, joining coalitions to fight high-density housing mandates and applying neighborhood compatibility guidelines fairly and consistently.

Top 3 Priorities
- Keeping our PVE Police Department as the best way to secure our safety and maintain local control
- Balanced budgets that account for the full cost of employee pensions and work towards paying down our unfunded pension liability
- Faithful application of our Neighborhood Compatibility Ordinance to preserve views and privacy

Top 3 Priorities
- Enhance our fiscal position: Palos Verdes Estates must retire our pension debt and balance our budget. I will apply my experience in managing multi-billion-dollar projects to build a financial strategy that gets our city’s finances on track.
- Retain our police. I will apply my 50 year’s career experience in public safety to develop a service model that will allow us to keep our police department and enhance services.
- Preserve our city’s character. I will work to protect our parklands, fight State imposed density, and develop a growth path that increases revenue while protecting our heritage.
