“Show within the Show” at Destination: Art

Appointments to view the work in person are still required, but Destination: Art has just unveiled an exhibition of over 75 pieces by nearly 40 members of its Associate Artists, and if that isn’t quite enough to take in there’s also “Portraits of Healthcare Heroes,” a collection of paintings by Dr. Carol Francis. The latter pays tribute to the South Bay’s healthcare professionals. In addition to being an artist herself, Francis is a clinical psychologist and family therapist.

It may have been outwardly quiet this past year on the local arts scene, but as this exhibition proves, people weren’t hanging up their brushes, palettes, or paint-splattered aprons. There’s something in the show for everyone. It’s up through June 12.
