Hermosa Beach Mayor Raymond Jackson introduces Public Works Superintendent John Cordova and thanks his crew for participating in the Mayor’s Monthly Community Conversation and Clean-up, last Saturday at South Park. After listening to a brief talk about the City’s parks, and housing master plans from Jackson and Community Development Director Carrie Tai, the two dozen attendees gardened and painted the school district’s after school classrooms building. Among the gardeners were (right) Isabella Sanclemente, and her dad Joseph, the city’s Public Works Director. The next Mayor’s Clean-up will be a beach clean-up Sunday, April 30 at 9 a.m. at the Hermosa Beach pier.
