The 5th Annual Downtown MB Car Show, presented by the Manhattan Beach Police Department K-9 Unit and the Downtown Manhattan Beach Business Association, takes place Sunday, October 1. Proceeds benefit the MBPD K-9 Foundation, a non-profit that supports current and former MBPD police dogs. Spectator admission is free. 

“We’ll feature over 200 cars — everything from 1920s Ford Raptor, Mayor Pro Tem [Joe] Franklin’s 55 Thunderbird,  and a 2023 Lamborghini,” said MBPD Officer and K-9 handler Mike Gibbons. “It’s a fun, family event.” 

The show takes place downtown, from 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Manhattan Beach Boulevard, and Manhattan Avenue. It also features live music, raffle prizes. The participation fee is $40 per vehicle, includes an event T-shirt, and goodie bag. Early Entry VIP registration is $60 per vehicle, includes early entry into the show, and a premier parking space on Manhattan Beach Boulevard. See mbpdk9.com/carshow for more information. ER
