Four Hermosa Beach residents, two Redondo Beach residents, a Manhattan Beach resident and a Palos Verdes resident will represent the United States at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris next week.
Hermosa residents Sara Hughes and Kelly Cheng will compete together in women’s beach volleyball.
Hermosa residents Chase Budinger and Miles Evans will compete in men’s beach volleyball.
Palos Verdes resident Andy Benesh and Miles Partain, of Pacific Palisades, will also compete in men’s beach volleyball.
Redondo Beach resident Taylor Spivey, a Mira Costa graduate (2011) will represent the U.S. in the individual women’s triathlon and the mixed relay triathlon.
Manhattan Beach resident Jordan Raney, also a Mira Costa Graduate (2014) will represent the U.S. in water polo.
Redondo Beach resident Marcos Giron will represent the U.S. in men’s singles tennis.
