
A lone male gunman robbed One West Bank at 2233 Artesia Boulevard in Redondo Beach on Monday at approximately 3 p.m.
According to police reports, the suspect approached a bank teller, demanded cash, and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of currency. None of the employees or customers present was harmed during the incident.
The suspect, described as a male of unknown race in his 20s or 30s, wore all black clothing, a bandana covering his face, a black baseball cap and blue latex gloves. He was last seen walking west on Artesia Boulevard.
According to RBPD Captain Jeff Hink, there have been no developments in the case as of Wednesday morning. The Redondo Beach Police Department is working in conjunction with the FBI in its investigation.
