Hermosa Museum naming the nameless

Join the Hermosa Beach Museum for an online webinar with the DNA Doe Project, and how they are employing modern technology to solve historical crime cases. CSC Meals for lungs and oxidation 

Cancer Support Community South Bay (CSC South Bay) free workshop led by Lilly Padilla, a certified integrative nutrition coach, author and cancer survivor. MB Soroptimist grants for working moms

Applications are now open for the Soroptimist Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women! Empowerment, education, and dreams can all become a reality for women who serve as the primary wage earners for their families and seek financial assistance to continue their education. Soroptimist International MB will award cash grants to qualified women applicants. The top recipient will then advance to other levels of the organization where they may receive up to $16,000 in additional cash grants. Eligibility requirements and applications are available at: soroptimist.org/lyda-apply. The application deadline is November 15.

 

PV Conversancy Rapid Response Team

Volunteer with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy Rapid Response Team, Fridays,  9 a.m. – 12 p.m.  Work alongside the field staff to help protect important wildlife habitat.
