Chevron MB Grand Prix

A single day road cycling race founded by local legend Ted Ernst and the South Bay Wheelmen back in 1962. Start/Finish at Joslyn Center, Live Oak Park, 1901 N. Valley Dr., Manhattan Beach. 7 a.m. Online registration: bikereg.com/mbgp. Livestream: LACrits.com

Manhattan Mile race

The Manhattan Mile is a net downhill race that will start and finish at Live Oak Park in Manhattan Beach. 7 – 9 a.m. $4,500 in potential cash awards to the top three overall male and female finishers, and awards to the top three male and female finishers in each age division. Grand Prix Kids’ Race

The community Kids’ Races at the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix are open to all boys and girls ages 2-14, and almost two, too. Kids’ Races are great fun for racers, families, friends, and are popular with the audience. 12 – 1 p.m. Registration: bit.ly/3VbS6GG.

Tom Petty tribute, Redondo Pier

Runnin’ Down a Dream will perform on the Redondo Beach Pier from 6 – 8 p.m. Free summer concert. 100 Fisherman’s Wharf. Bring low back beach chairs, blankets and snacks. 

MB Summer Shuttle 

Ongoing until the end of summer. The City of Manhattan Beach free temporary Park and Ride shuttle service conveniently transporting rides from Pacific Elementary School to downtown Manhattan Beach with two shuttle service locations. Free pick-up and drop-off locations: Pacific Elementary School, 1200 Pacific Ave., 10th Street and Manhattan Ave, City Hall, 1400 Highland Ave. Mon. – Thurs. 1 – 9 p.m. Fri. – Sun. 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Pick-up and drop-off every 20 minutes. Summer concerts, Manhattan Village
