Redondo Veterans Day

Redondo beach will observe Veterans Day on Monday at the Veterans Memorial in Veterans Park, beginning at 1 p.m. The keynote speaker is Col. Ann Igl, USAF, Commander 61st Air Base Group, Los Angeles Air Force Base. Local elected officials and military dignitaries will participate. The ceremony will be followed by a BBQ picnic sponsored by the Redondo Elks Lodge, #1378 in the Elks parking lot south of their building adjacent to Veterans Park. The BBQ is free for veterans, active military, police officers and firefighters. $5 donation from others. For more information visit RBVeteransMemorial.com.

Hermosa Veterans Day

Hemosa’s Veterans Day commemoration and candlelight ceremony features the Air National Guard Band of the West Coast Brass Quintet and keynote speaker Richard G. “Nick” Nickelson, US Navy Seal UDT & Space Capsule Recovery Team member, 4:30 p.m.The ceremony takes place at the Hermosa Beach Veterans Memorial, on the Community Center East Lawn at Pier Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway. Manhattan Veteran’s Day 


Manhattan Beach hosts its 22nd Annual Veterans Day Ceremony from 11 a.m. ‘til noon at the Veterans Monument, on the Greenbelt, with a Presentation of Colors by the Manhattan Police Color Guard, followed by an address by Mayor Nancy Hersman.. 

Veterans religious services

This Saturday, Congregation Tikvat Jacob will conduct a Veterans Day Shabbit from 9:30 to noon.

On Sunday, American Martyrs will celebrate a Veteran’s Day Mass on Sunday, starting at 6 p.m.
