The Kids Strike Back: Battle of the Bands returns to RB Performing Arts Center
The second edition of Redondo’s Youth Battle of the Bands, presented by the Redondo Beach Police Department, B2 Insurance and the Los Angeles Kings, kicks off this Saturday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m., at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center.
The free concert will, like last year’s edition, showcase some of the best young musical talents in the South Bay as they compete for this contest’s top prize: A performance at LA Live before an upcoming LA Kings hockey game. The top three bands will also be awarded trophies at the end of the night.
This edition of the Battle of the Bands will feature returning acts Chroma Haze, Totally Mental and Behind Schedule, as well as Live Wire, Scream Revolution and Slaves to Humanity.
