A citywide, Hermosa Beach Virtual Sidewalk Sale will be held Friday, May 1 through Sunday,  May 3. Over 100 Hermosa retailers and restaurants will offer online specials, free local delivery and curbside pick up. The sale is being organized by the Downtown Hermosa Beach Business Association and the Hermosa Chamber of Commerce.

Residents can tune in to Instagram Live starting Wednesday for live in-store virtual interviews with retailers and restaurant owners and learn about sales specials. Follow @dthermosabeach on both Instagram and Facebook for the latest news and details.

“The LA County’s Safer-At-Home order has forced than 100 Hermosa retail storefronts to close their storefronts and pivot to becoming online retailers. And the town’s  more than 60 restaurants are limited to offering curbside and delivery service. Hermosa’s gift stores, surf shops, salons, art studios and restaurants need the community to shop local now, more than ever,” said Brian Cooley, co-owner of Wicked+ A General Store and Beach & Beverly.

“The silver lining of any crisis is how people come together,” said Jeff Bonafede, of Uncorked Wine Shop. “We  thank our local community for helping us survive during this unprecedented time.”

Participating business can be found at hermosaone.com/all-listings, an online platform started by Hermosa residents, Russ Gilbert, Jessica Accamando, William Jason and Megg Sulzinger.  ER
