How to Make a Halloween Card

Here’s a step-by-step tutorial for making a handmade Halloween card.

  • Start by drawing out what you want your card to look like. For example, if you have a picture of a haunted house, then draw out the shape of the house.
  • Next, draw the door and windows, then outline the roof.
  • Once you have drawn everything out, cut out the shapes using scissors.
  • Next, glue down all the pieces onto the backside of the paper.
  • Use the pencil to trace around each piece.
  • Finally, cut along the lines with the scissors.
  • Take the black marker and write “trick or treat” across the top of the card. Write the date underneath.
  • Finally, add some glitter to the card. Add more glitter where you want it to appear.

Now you’re ready to send your friends and family some Halloween greetings!

Tips

  • If you want to make sure that your cards stand out, try adding some extra details. For example, if you have a picture of an old house, you can add a window frame on the left side of the image. Or, if you have a monster picture, you can add eyes on its face.
  • Another way to make your cards stand out is to put them into a box. This makes it easier to mail them off to people.
