Inter Miami: how to attract the attention of fans from all over the world to yourself and your championship

Until recently, the American MLS was not so interesting not only to foreign fans, but even to local sports fans, who in the United States traditionally prefer other disciplines – basketball, hockey, baseball and American football. However, recently the trend has been changing – many local clubs are still unknown to the general international public, but Inter Miami is already known to everyone.

The club is considered the favorite of the current MLS draw, but still does not crush everyone. Then what is the reason for his crazy popularity? It’s simple – management spared no expense in attracting very recognizable football players, even at pre-retirement age. Social networks are doing their job: personal fans of top stars follow their matches wherever they play, and thanks to this, interest in Inter itself and the entire league increases significantly.

If you want to bet on the success of this team, go to onlayn aviator o’yin. Meanwhile, there are several names in the Inter squad that are familiar to any football fan.

David Beckham

The famous Englishman ended his playing career back in 2013, but he was directly involved in the creation of Inter Miami. Being a very good football player, David also married a pop superstar, and his own appearance contributed to the conclusion of numerous advertising contracts. So he gained impressive recognition, and many wealthy people found themselves thinking that they were ready to invest in this guy.

Having played at the top level for Manchester United and Real Madrid, Beckham, at the age of 33, moved overseas, where he was offered an excellent contract by the Los Angeles Galaxy. There, the Englishman saw that in the States there was a huge market with potential fans who just needed to be interested – for example, after his transition there was a considerable surge of interest in MLS. By attracting investments, you can offer huge salaries to star players, and they, in turn, will not mind moving overseas at least at a mature football age – for the reason that the USA has all the living conditions.

After finishing his career, Beckham considered it necessary to stay not only in the States, but also in local football. However, he did not join the structure of any club, but founded his own – Inter Miami, which began playing in MLS in the 2020 season. Thanks to connections, he received a franchise to create a new team at a reduced price (in the USA the league needs to pay for this), and also attracted a number of wealthy partners who will help him bring world stars of the first magnitude to Florida.

Lionel Messi

Even people far from football probably know who he is. One can argue about whether he is the greatest footballer in history, but it is unlikely that anyone in their right mind would argue that the Argentine does not lay claim to this role. In terms of the number of Golden Balls, he is ahead of his eternal competitor in the person of Cristiano Ronaldo – eight against five, and the last of them won, already as an Inter player, for the first time giving such an honor to the entire MLS. In July 2023, he joined the club, which had previously lacked stars from the sky, as the current world champion and captain of the Argentina national team.

No football player is capable of carrying the entire team alone, but Leo had no intention of doing so – he was invited first to show other stars the seriousness of the local management’s intentions. Following Messi, other living legends of football flocked to Inter, especially his former partners in the once very formidable Barcelona, which the Miami club is trying hard to recreate. It was the Argentine who launched an unprecedented increase in attention to MLS.

Sergio Busquets

There is no doubt that the club negotiated with Busquets at the same time as with Messi – Sergio officially joined Inter the day after Leo. The Spaniard, like the Argentine, is the true embodiment of Barcelona at its best – he played for her for fifteen long years, that is, almost his entire career. Three Champions Leagues, nine championships in Spain, as well as world and European champion titles as part of the national team allow us to consider the midfielder a world-class star.

Thanks to this transfer, it became clear that Messi would not be alone among the relatively unknown players, and that Inter would have at least one stunning pairing.

Jordi Alba

Four more days later, Inter bosses signed a third former Barcelona star – now in defensive formations.Like his colleagues, Alba spent most of his career at the main Catalan club, although he joined it a little later – in 2012, having first proven himself in Valencia. “Being late” to the main team of the Catalans led to the fact that Jordi has slightly fewer titles, but still he is the winner of the Champions League and won the Spanish Championship 6 times, and as a member of the national team he won Euro 2012 and the relatively recent Nations League 22/23.

In the summer of 2023, Inter management limited itself to three high-profile transfers – and this was not enough to save the team, which had not shone at all, from the final 27th place. However, the bosses were not going to stop there.

Luis Suarez

The top Uruguayan has repeatedly proven throughout his career that he is a goalscorer of prodigious talent. Luis was indispensable in almost all the clubs where he played, but we will highlight only those where he stayed for a long time – Ajax, Liverpool, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. With age, his scoring instinct has not gone away – Suarez scores in almost every match he starts!

He was signed at the end of December 2023, before the start of the next season. This instantly increased Inter’s chances of winning the title, and also brought in many new fans. Not surprising: Suarez’s game managed to charm fans of several prestigious clubs at once, and now, out of nostalgia, they are happy to switch to Miami.
