Redondo Beach was glowing Saturday night, as hundreds of residents from around the South Bay came out to enjoy the 23rd Annual King Harbor Holiday Boat Parade.

22 boats and 65 paddlecraft registered to float in this year’s parade, with lighting designs that ranged from simple strings along safety rails to LED-aided Technicolor dreamscrapes that would make Clark Griswold blush.

The winner of this top prize was Robbie Meistrell’s “Ocean Blue,” as chosen by judges Eric Pendergraft, Juli Gravo and Christian Horvath.

Other winners include Paul Gillett’s “EggCessive” for Best Execution of Theme with “Christmas Lights on the Beach,” Le Coller’s “Pascal’s Wager” for Best Lighting, and Craig and Keron Stanton’s “Voyager” for Best Sound and Music.
