Over 60 Mira Costa High School students exhibited their work, ranging from paintings and photography, to sculpture and surfboard shaping, over the past weekend at Resin Gallery, in Hermosa Beach.
“This has been a tough year for all of us, but the quality of the students’ art is at an all time high,” said Kate Heredia, head of the Mira Costa Art program. Resin’s Rafael McMaster and the South Bay Artist Collective have hosted the Mira Costa High School Annual Visual Arts Exhibit for the past four years. Featured artists included Amelia McRae, Michelle Rembert, and Francesca Kula, who are members of the 400 Club, which offers after school art classes through the South Bay Artist Collective.
