The Apple iPhone is the most popular camera in the world, but are you taking advantage of all its features for awesome photos?
Come join me at the Manhattan Beach Pier Thursday for tips on how to get professional photos on your smartphone, and what all those hidden menu tools in the camera app are all about. We’ll meet at 5 p.m. at the foot of the Pier. The event is sponsored by the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce.
All are welcome, whether you’re just starting out with your smartphone camera, bought a new camera and barely know how to use it, or are advanced. This is an outing with people who love taking photos and want to learn how to improve. I also know my way around the Samsung Galaxy, so feel free to bring one along if you have it.
I’m the host of the PhotowalksTV travel photography series on YouTube, where I bring viewers along with me to great places, from Paris to Osaka, Jackson Hole to Clearwater Beach, Florida and all over California, and I shoot the entire series on an iPhone and Galaxy smartphones. At the Pier, once we go over the hidden menu, I’ll show some of my favorite hidden camera tricks to level up your photo skills that Apple and Samsung have never bothered telling you about. And then I’ll take you on a walk in and around the Pier so you can try out some of those new tips.
This photowalk is a fantastic way to meet fellow photography enthusiasts, exchange tips and tricks, and explore the picturesque Manhattan Beach together. Don’t forget to bring your smartphone and comfortable shoes for this exciting adventure!
Tickets are $20, or $15 for Chamber members.
