Special issue: ‘Hollywood at the Beach’

The entertainment industry has a long history in the Beach Cities, from its time as a quick and romantic getaway for movie stars of the Silver Screen era to its role in launching such key players as Quentin Tarantino (a clerk at the former Video Archives in Manhattan Beach) and its use as a  backdrop for literally hundreds of Hollywood sets (ranging from “Carrie” to “Terminator” to “Dexter” and “Pirates of the Caribbean”).  In this month’s Beach magazine, we look at several Hollywood “insiders” who make their home at the Beach.
