The Palos Verdes Assembly celebrated its 55th year with its annual Presentation Ball in the Crystal Ballroom at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The evening recognized 39 seniors for their four-year commitment to studying ballroom dance and social etiquette, and also for their philanthropic efforts. This past year, Assembly participants donated approximately 8,000 hours of service to charitable causes, for which they received the prestigious Assembly Medallion. The evening included a mother/son and father/daughter waltz led by dance master Bobby Burgess.
