Spotlights on Arts: Peninsula Friends of the Library Special Meet & Greet with bestselling author

Alka Joshi, New York Times bestselling author of The Henna Artist, spoke at the Malaga Cove Library on March 13. Guests were provided lunch on the patio and a copy of The Henna Artist, which Joshi offered to autograph. Joshi’s book became a global phenomenon — hitting the New York Times best seller list. The book has been acquired by Netflix for a television series.
