TRAVEL: Blooms, History, Legos & another great beach in Carlsbad

From the Flower Fields of Carlsbad, by Jefferson Graham

The latest episode of PhotowalksTV heads south to the San Diego area, to explore the beach community of Carlsbad.

The city has a lot going for it: a historic downtown that dates back to the late 1800s, a European style village, great beaches, local strawberry fields that go on forever and nearby some 55 acres of incredibly colorful flower fields that come alive from just March to May, closing on Mother’s Day. Plus, the Legoland theme park is right in Carlsbad as well, around the corner from the Flower Fields.

Plus, it’s a great place to bring your phone camera, and I show you various smartphone tricks in this episode, so tune in and enjoy!
